  • Log book signed out of my name without my consent

I'm wondering if anyone can help me. My dad bought me a car around 6 years ago for my birthday and Xmas present. It was in my name as it was my car. I left my log book in my dads M.O.T. business garage for safe keeping along with all the other log books. (We have around 15 vehicles & lorrys etc). Unfortunately I got banned for speeding, so my car has been parked up on our land for a while. My dad who has just turned 90 years old has sadly passed away yesterday. I've since found out that my step brother who runs the garage has signed it out of my name without my knowledge. How do i get this sorted & pit back into my name? Thanks

Sorry to hear of your loss.
Have you asked your step brother why the log book has been changed ? ( has it been changed to the garage or to your step brother ?)
Is the car SORNED or up to date with MOT / TAX / Insurance etc ?
