  • Hello and advice regards a railway parking charge

Hello from a newbie seeking some advice regarding a parking charge in a railway car park.
    • The vehicle was parked in railway car park
    • I paid for parking via an app and returned to find a ticket issued.
    • I made an appeal and enclosed receipt of parking, which was denied.
    • I contacted the company and was informed there are two different operators in the car park (no clear signage depicting this)
    • I am neither the owner or the driver of the vehicle
    • I have ignored letters from ZZPS and QDR
Should I continue to ignore until 6 months is up?

What should I send to have it cancelled at 6 months?

    Thanks in advance.

What do you think the 6 months has to do with it?

Presumably because railway byelaws are ordinarily subject to criminal prosecution in the Magistrates' Court which has a time limit of 6 months from the date of the offence.

Are they claiming for a byelaw contravention or is it a Parking Charge Notice?

          A breach of railway byelaw.
