    Hello,my name is Katerina.I ve been renting this studio flat for almost a year.Yesterday i ve received mail from my agent Renewal rental agreement.It is asking me to sign the contract for another year and also fees to pay £75.Fees to renew the contract?I ve never heard of that.So my question is it is legal to ask for those fees?Do i have to pay that?Thank you

    http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/...tion/5/enacted means renewal fees are banned for tenancies entered into after 1 June 2019. As you entered into the tenancy before June 2019 the fee is allowed. However that only applies until June 2020 when the fees are banned even on pre June 2019 tenancy agreements. So basically in your case, this year they can charge it, next year they won't be able to.
