I paid a figure of £155 to Bank Smart 6 years ago as I thought was a settlement figure and end the misery as all I was getting was hassle and head ache of a PPi claim which did not happen . Now after all these years I get an Invoice of £135 to make a settlement figure.for all the work they have done....... had nightmares about this company and now reliving the hell ..... more so how foolish I was to even deal with such a company. The latest letter full of legal facts....14 days to pay etc legal this legal that. Any advise ?

Any chance you can do a pic of the letter ( redact your personal details) ?

What have they said the £135 is for ? Cancellation or breach of contract ?

Was the £155 payment the last time you had contact with them ?

That’s exactly what mines say but also it says it’s another invoice after the one I paid a few years back and it does not replace the invoice I paid.? So now there just making up another invoice. I got a feeling there going to keep doing this for the other 3 I got with them. So tempted to just say what have I got to do pay etc so you never contact me again and send me a letter confirming this

Seems a few people are getting these letters. If someone could do a pic of the letter and post it up or email it to me that'd be useful to help form a response ( admin@legalbeagles.info )

I will email the letter across tonight to you. I have also spoken with the claim management ombudsmen today and they said to send a letter of complaint to them stating all what I need to say as in you have done nothing it’s been 7 years since this started I paid you over £150 for this claim now 5 years later you want another £350 I have had no money from you I want you to stop all Claims on my behalf as I feel you are not doing your job properly I understood that it was no win no fee, no charges were mentioned to me etc etc. I’m going to email them tonight. I will copy legal beagles in also if that’s ok.

It say should your claim be unsuccessful you have no obligation to cover our costs. Well taking 7 years is unsuccessful I would say.!

                        Indeed.

I'd send a SAR to bank smart as well as a formal complaint,

That should get all the info you need to take the complaint forward through the FOS cmc dept.
