  • Hello and assistance please

    Hi everyone
Out of the blue receive a letter from Intrum yesterday.
Account purchased from HFC on 04/04/2008! Yes thats right. Chasing me for a credit my exwife took out in my name, dumped on my lap when i left her, she used the card but yes in my name, and expected me to pay it off, which i declined to do so. 3k the debt.
    bottom of letter ....
YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT THE PERIOD OF RECOVERING YOUR DEBT BY COURT ACTION HAS EXPIRED SO WE WILL NOT BE ISSUING COURT PROCEEDINGS TO ENFORCE PAYMENT . HOWEVER YOUR DEBT STILL EXISTS AND LEGALLY WE ARE WITHIN OUR RIGHTS TO CONTINUE TO ASK YOU FOR PAYMENT.
Question. Do i use the letter to fire up the barbeque and ignore?
