      Normally within 6 weeks.

      If she gets a letter post it up - most likely we'd say ignore. If it is directly from Primark though it will want further consideration.

        Should she ignore all the letters then? From RLP or even Primark?

          She’s received a RLP letter and they said she needs to pay 150£ within 21 days before contacting her again. What should she do ignore them or pay the price

            So nothing like the £16.50 the security guard said then... Personally I'd ignore it entirely, and expect more letters ( around 5 overall ) before they give up and bog off. Remember it is not a fine. Nothing to do with the Police.

            If she receives a letter from Primark directly then consider again what to do, but we haven't ever seen Primark try taking any alleged shoplifter to court for these kind of cases, and when Boots tried it 8/9 years ago they lost the case as it was ruled there was no loss ( as in this case )
