  • Allay claims text saying claim pack on it's way

Hello there I received a text from allay claims saying that they're sending me a claim pack for ppi.. it's probably a daft question but I'm just checking that I haven't committed myself to something? I didn't ask them to send me a pack, I did take a look on their site and filled some questions about myself but exited site without asking for further assistance..

You'll probably be bombarded with texts forever more... if you just filled in the form on their homepage ( pic attached ) it says this under it
    • By submitting your enquiry, we will use the contact details you have provided to contact you about your potential claims. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

    then the privacy policy says

If you decide to use one of our claims management services, you will be provided with a Terms of Engagement along with details of our complaints procedure and how to cancel our service. You will also be able to access details of any regulator applicable to the service/s we provide. This information is provided before we provide our service to you.
So it shouldn't mean you've signed up with them. That should only be when you complete the claim pack to give them authority to contact lenders etc.

what did you look at signing up with them for ? PPI ?

You know you can claim yourself ? Which lenders are you looking at claiming from ?
