HI can someone give me advice or help I am trying to sell my house but it says welcome finance are on land regestry I remember in 2008 I took a loan out with them I did not no it was secured i thought it was paid and have herd nothing from them or had any letters u don’t know what to do trying to sort my self out

You need to write to Welcome Finance and ask them to remove the charging order as the account was settled in full. Also send a Subject Access Request https://legalbeagles.info/library/gu...ccess-request/ to them to get all the information just in case you need to investigate more if they come back and say no etc. There may also have been PPI on the account which you may be able to reclaim so definitely worth doing the SAR.
