If it were me I'd keep it simple.......from what I've seen, most appeals are turned down regardless of their validity.
So
1/ The postal notice to keeper is not compliant with the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 Schedule 4.
2/ Code of Practice grace periods have not been considered by MET.
& keep screen captures & send them to yourself as proof of date.CAVEAT LECTOR

Hi there,
I have just received a fine from MET too but mine says I didn't validate my visit and that was back on 7th May 2019 - how have you got on with yours? Did you appeal? If so, did you do so on line? I am partly inclined to just pay the £50 BUT I do not believe this is justified but just not sure if it worth the hassle / fight unless I know someone else is / has done the same..... any advice please?
