    Hi, just received letter from Intrum requesting payment on outstanding debt. Also sated that the period for recovering debt by court action has expired so will not be issuing Court proceedings to enforce payments. Do I have to pay this debt

    It is over six years since it defaulted or was last paid ?

      It is 6 years since it was defaulted or payments been made

        Good, they are allowed to keep chasing you for the money until you let them know you know the debt is statute barred and you do not intend to pay and asked them to stop contacting you. Have a look at that template letter and adjust it to suit
