    Hi, new to this so please be gentle, separated from husband and took on the mortgage (new mortgage agreements). Would my husbands name still be on the land registry

    You can download the Land Registry documents - there is a small fee. That should answer your query.

      Yes, £3 I think. I was thinking maybe it should be cleared automatically, if not how do I clear his name off?

        When you completed the house purchase the land registry should be updated by your conveyancer/solicitor - so maybe check with them if they have done so or are doing so. It can take a while for the records to update so if the new mortgage was only very recently it might be worth checking with conveyancer first ( check with mortgage lender too as it's normally done same time they register their interest in the property)
