Help! I received a county county claim form this weekend from a ticket I received in November 2015! I appealed the ticket and never heard anything back despite numerous telephone calls over the years with various debt companies chasing the debt. I had bought a ticket and displayed it but it slid off the window!! What can I do??

You acknowledge the claim using the details and password on the form. Noting in the defence. This gives you 33 days to get your defence to the court
Has the driver been identified ? Yes or No.
Can you post up the original paperwork received, suitably redacted?

I managed to speak to someone at Vehicle Control Services today and he was the first person in 4 years to admit they received my appeal by email but didn’t reply because I forgot to put my postal address on. So despite putting my vehicle reg and the PCN number, he said their policy is not to reply. He said I would have failed my appeal anyway because it’s my responsibility to display the ticket. I did display it but it fell off!! I’ll acknowledge the claim tomorrow and say I intend to dispute the full amount -!but what are the grounds for appeal?

Nick the relevant bits from the above (scrub any references to the CCA), add a line for
'Copies of the relevant site signage plus a detailed map of positions of same at the relevant time'
& good to go.
Keep a copy & get proof of sending.
Just tick the 'defend in full' box when acknowledging.....don't put any dialogue in the main defence box.
What is the claim issue date?CAVEAT LECTOR

You have 33 days from the claim issue date to file a defence (28 + 5 for deemed service of the court claim.)
I make that Wed 31st July latest.......but check that yourself.
Even if the final decision went against you, you can pay within 1 month of judgment to avoid a CCJ being registered.
But there's a long way to go before that.CAVEAT LECTOR
