    Hope somebody can help me.

my partner had an EE contract and turns out he was paying for the upgraded phone as well as the old one. EE have previously said themselves that he has over paid and they are investigating it.

Today he’s had 2 letters From Lowell Finacial limited saying that the dept has been sold and is now on their hands. I really have no idea about anything like this so any help what to do going forward would be great. Thank you

Was a formal complaint made and did it get resolved ? ( whether or not you agree with the result of the investigation ) or was it a case of they said they'd investigate then just went silent until you got the Lowell letters?

A SAR to EE will be of help later so do that ASAP - https://legalbeagles.info/library/gu...ccess-request/

Likely you'll want to inform Lowell the debt was in dispute with EE and asking for copies of documents - but depends what actually happened with EE.
