  • Hi new here

I've got debts that are statute barred and just wanted to join and look for some help as one of the creditors are bugging me for payment and the debt hasn't been acknowledged for 7 years now . I've received the usual threat letter asking for payment and then another one telling me its going back to the owner . SO I have just filed it and will see what happens next with it .

Even though it is statute barred there is nothing to stop them from trying to recover the amount allegedly owed.

A firm must not continue to demand payment from a customer after the customer has stated that he will not be paying the debt because it is statute barred.
