Can I get sued if I have a confrontation with a work colleague outside work?

If a work colleague is bullying me. Could I be sued if I pick up on him outside work, which may lead to a confrontation?. What does the law say about this?

The law says if you do that you may be committing assault and/or other offences. Your best course of redress for a work place issue is to file a grievance with your employer.
