  • Bank Charges

    I have had hundreds of pounds worth of bank charges I took it to the financial ombudsman service got some charges back but I have more, I sent information to the fos again and they were not very helpful Is there a way I can get these back also I had a student account with the Co-operative bank which I have a debt collection agency after me.

    Didn't you take the bank charges case to court and had the case dismissed ? Or is this a different bank ? FOS won't look at one that's already been to court.

    What are co-op after ? repayment of overdraft ? When did you default on the account ?

      These are recent charges I'm in financial difficulty and the banks and building societies dont care just keep putting charges, on my account I have called them up I had one goodwill gesture on each account, I had loads of interest on my co-operative account, I will be taking them to the small claims courts and others.

        But bank charges are illegal under the Unfair Terms Of Consumer Contract Regulations 1999?

          I have contacted the Financial Ombudsman Service regarding this is there a way I can get all my charges back?

              Cheers I have wrote the template letter I think it will be small claims courts next.
