Rbs - ppi claim

Hello folks

First post on here and hope someone can help me please, I have been refused a PPI Claim from RBS on the basis that the Credit Card application was postal (an invitation by them by the way) so advice for PPI was not required, even though the form stated 'we strongly recommend you take out this cover'. RBS have refused the claim so I took it to FSO and they have agreed with RBS. What is my next step please? or do I have to grit my teeth and accept.

Would you have been eligible for the insurance to pay out had you required it to ? or did you have occassion to claim on it but couldn't at any point?
( not self employed / had alternative income cover etc for example )

Do you have your resolution letter from the FOS ? ( presumably this is their first decision and you haven't accepted it yet so could appeal if appropriate ? )

RBS have said I was eligible for the cover and would have paid out had I needed it, my circumstances at the time would have meant I would not have needed it though. I had my first letter from FOS with a form to say I could appeal if I wished, the adjudicator said on the phone that unless I had any more evidence it was unlikely to change. I sent this off with a covering letter giving reasons for doing so to the FOS in London expecting it to go higher but have now had the same reply from the same adjudicator.
