  • Notice to change and file at court - help!

    recieved a letter from DWF - it was a notice to change legal representation and file at court from a issue in 2015 by a minor

    Only I have absolutely no clue what they are on about...and really freaking out

    please can someone help

    Can you cover personal info on the letter and upload a pic ? Or type it out ( if its not too long) I think we'll need to see exactly what they've said to help you decipher what they're on about xxx

      Thank you.

      I just got got off the phone to the county court - who advised me to ring the legal bods working for the claimant.

      So I rang them, got an apology - and the guy handling it said he meant to ring me yesterday. it should never have been issued in my name, it’s a personal Injury claim against the insureres from an accident I was in back then.

      So hopefully *fingers crossed* this is the first and last of it

        When you say issued you mean the letter or the original claim ? Did the court confirm the claim doesn't have you down as the defendant ? Just to be sure that if it does go to a judgment at any point it isn't against you but your insurers.
