Child maitanence

My son is planning to work for a year after finishing his a levels before going to university .My divorce states maintanence must be paid until he reaches the age of 18 or ceasing full time tertiary education to the end of first degree course. Do I still need to pay as he is leaving education for a year and if I don't would I be required to start payments again when he goes to university ? Any comments much appreciated

As far as I know Child benefit and Child Maintenance should cease after A levels ( from 31st August after his exams assuming he will be over 18 then ) and child maintenance ( under your consent order which states while in full time education until end of first degree course) would restart when he starts uni to when he finishes uni.
