  • Soon to default CC payment

    Hi,

Just wandered if anyone can help. I have Aqua CC which I have missed payment for the last 2 months due to change of circumstances. I had recently one of my close family members being diagnosed with cancer and my word has fallen apart. As well as that I used to have a reasonably good income until the company I work for has reduced my work hours and my wage pack has decreased dramatically since then. Also on top of all that I have been issued with DEO from SCA as my ex partner lied that she hasnt received the money paid to her. I'm falling more and more into debt so I was wandering should I write to my creditors and tell them of the situation before it gets worst.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Straight answer, yes, keep them informed and ask for some breathing space while you get straight. Keep on top of your priority bills ( rent/mortgage, utilities, council tax ) and let non priorities know you're having a temporary blip ) They should keep anything from getting out of control. https://www.stepchange.org/debt-info...ing-space.aspx
