I don't really need to do anything about this issue but just to say that the above company have gone through the electoral roll and sent a letter to an address I've not lived at for three years. They have also written to me at my current address. They are obviously desperate The previous address is my mother's and although I don't talk to her she's told my son so obviously companies like this can open up a tin of worms in their desperate measures to collect debts.

Do you know what the original debt is that they are chasing ? Sounds like they are trying to trace you and if you have never told the original creditor of your change of address then letters being sent to your previous address is going to be par for the course. Of course, no one should open mail addressed to you - it should be forwarded on or returned to sender - unless you'd previously arranged with someone to receive and open your mail.#staysafestayhome
