Barred from Asda

Hello and thank u for letting me join group I went to Asda today on my way home from work to pick up a few bits we tvto self service till payed for my items and went to leave on walking past security they stopped me and said they had me on camera on the 23rd Dec 2018 which was over 3 weeks ago not paying for my shopping they said they see me putting my card in and entering my pin and then walking off to which I had to pass security and was never stopped but today they thought they would show me the cctv pic of me back in December ?? Where do I stand I知 confused I have never notvpaid for my shopping and now they have banned me from Asda that was the words of tge security bloke

Do you have a payment showing on your bank statement for that date (or day after if it was late on ) ? Did you go to Asda that day even ?
Not sure what he's accusing you of - taking your shopping without paying? Despite having cctv of the person paying? ( card declined or something maybe ?)

You can send a Subject Access Request to Asda for a copy of the cctv if they are attributing it to you - if there was an attempted transaction that aborted there should be a record on their system too.

I知 sorry to hear about that. Could the security have been mistaken? I知 sure if you put your card in and entered your pin, then you would have a transaction on your bank account to prove you honestly believed that you paid. I知 a bit confused over the dates as the 23rd of December would be less than 3 weeks. Did the security take you into a separate room to show you the footage?.

Did the alarms go off when you left the store?
