Zodiac - How have you got on trying to get through to Northampton CCBC ?

It's unusual sending food gifts to somebody in another part of the country on a regular basis. (I occasionally send wine to somebody who has helped me. It's really easy to get Majestic to deliver.) But regular food deliveries? I don't understand why? How could she know what you wanted?

The reason I am asking all this is that she may have a string of emails from you saying things like "Yes, please order 4 frozen pizzas for me, the ones with pepperoni on". That would tend to counter the argument that these were gifts and make it look more like she was providing a sort of concierge service.

At the moment, she seems to be trying it on, but it is possible she'll get her act together and has some sort of case.

My mum used to send me food deliveries regularly to help out, and I send them to my Daughter ( at Uni ) quite often .... but yes, check comms if there is any mention at all of paying back etc - or even counter her case with anything where she says 'let me send you som' ' don't worry about the money' kind of thing...
