  • repaying a loan

While i was suffering from a bout of mania ( i have mental health issues) I took out a loan for £25000 ( unsecured loan) .I am at present under the local mental health clinic.
I cannot repay the loan as i dont get paid while i am sick. The bank has threatened to take my home, which is a flat that i have a mortgage on.
Can the bank do this? Ps this is being written on my behalf as i find it difficult to concentrate.
    thank you

Were the bank aware of your health issues before taking out the loan and, if not, are they aware now ?

Have they taken you to court for repayment of the loan already, and if not, on what grounds are they stating they will take your home ?
