Ryanair airlines who canceled our flight hasn't fully compensated us for the rerouting expenses and said they didn't have to pay any compensation because the cancellation was due to bad weather conditions. I checked with a solicitor who said he can help us to get back claim amount but the solicitor wants up to 35% of compensation. Is there is any other way?

So you know very well about EU regulation 261/2004 and air passengers rights which is good. But as you mentioned the solicitor you know is charging 30% + VAT. I think is too much service fee. There are other claiming companies that charge less than solicitors. A few months ago I also faced such instance where I was eligible to claim but the airline refused my claim. Then I researched some claim companies, there were many options available such as AirHelp, ClaimFlights, FlightRight etc. I filed my claim through ClaimFlights (https://www.claimflights.co.uk/) as they were charging less than others, anyhow they charged commision of 25%+VAT, I felt its very much but at the no one was cheaper than that. I got back my compensation in my account within three weeks.

25%+vat is 30% - 30% +vat isn't 35%, it's 36%. Did you actually enquire direct with a solicitor ?
Anyway marketing aside... yes of course you can argue the case yourself - if there is a case of course.
what was the bad weather ? ( serious weather issues are exempted - you'd rather be late than in a plane crash ( presumably )
Did you reach your original destination - and how long after your scheduled arrival time ?
Was the destination under / over 1500km / 3500km etc
In the EU ?
What expenses were incurred ?
What was the rerouting ?
If over 5 hours were you offered accommodation ?
Was this outgoing or incoming flight ? ) were you delayed before leaving the U.K. or returning from elsewhere ?
Do you you have a copy of the compensation refusal letter ?
