She did affordability check which at that point I still did not know I was taking out a finance loan and yes she came twice to my location where I had a witness and she did not leave the contract or explain nothing about terms and conditions

I have have also done the above already so Im waiting for the financial ombudsman service to assist me. Carnegie consumer finance are very witty and know exactly what they are doing. They should have a duty and of care but they prefer to defend this type of mis selling.

Hi there I started new trades career with a electrical course full scope about 3 months ago and after reading all these reviews is has started to get me worried as if this course is worth doing now and am going to be fully qualified and able to get work in the electrical trade afterwards after seeing that you on do 9 weeks of practical training which will only be one day per week, as after reading all these coomebts I am starting to think I have been conned into a course that is going to be getting me nowhere after this is all completed?*

Was the practical training side explained at the sign up stage? Do you know where it is, what it involves and how many days/weeks etc it takes? Previously people seem to have done a week in a block rather than one day a week - so if that's what you are expecting it might be worth checking with the place that is providing the training ( ERR ? )
What is the actual qualification you expect to come out with ? ( NVQ ? City & Guilds ? which course/level etc )

Hi there I have been in touch with them today, my issue is as similar as everyone else on the sign up I was told i would be able to do the practical days on the weekends as the course is meant to work around your work schedule i the so called college representative told me my nearest centre would be Warrington which was a lie beacuse the nearest centre would be Wolverhampton which is too far and no good to me, I was also told they pay all your travel expensive aswell when I was signing up which ntc have responded back to me telling me they only give you 30 pound if you travel over 50 miles and they told me you can only do the practical training between monday-Friday half8-half4 which would be impossible for me to make from Liverpool unless I pay for a hotel the night before but wouldnt be able to do that anyways as it affects my work schedule, is there a way I can get out of this loan agreement that I wasnt even aware I was in untill I read these threads todays as the service they have mislead me with is no good for me ? And do you no if anyone has been success with complaining of being miss sold ?

Hi everyone, I am in exactly the same issue as everyone here. Mine is with New Trades Career. A salesperson sent to my house in June 2019 mis-led me into signing up for a Gas engineering course which i later realised was not for me. She made several promises, which i now know are lies. She told me i can cancel anytime but now NTC said they cant cancel the course because i am way passed the cooling off period. Carnegie is now all over me because of 1 payment i have missed. I need help. How do we resolve all these mess?
