    how many cigarettes did you bring in and from where ? ( Think the allowance is 800 from eu and 200 from outside eu https://www.gov.uk/duty-free-goods/a...outside-the-eu. )

      There is unlimited from within the EU, though must be for personal use so HMRC might query a large amount. The EU allowance does not extend to some of the holiday destinations like the Canaries nor the Channel Islands where the 200 limit applies.
