Hello.

New boy here ,Hope you can help.
I was told that I have a CCJ against me when applying for a rent property I have no recollection of any such proceedings, and no paperwork from any court It dates back to October 2014, I have a case number from County Court Business centre.I have seen a County court business centre in Northampton is this a centralised service? I can remember a threat of proceedings relating to council tax but this was payed there and then. Is there any easy way to find out who I supposedly owe the money to (£1050). Any pointing in the right direction would help at this stage.

Ring up CCBC and ask whom the claimant is, what it's in respect of and to what address it was served?
