county court judgement utilities
Have just discovered after looking at my credit file that there is a county court judgement registered against me by a company Lowell claiming for a non payment of a bit bill which includes their costs £294. I do not have any outstanding bills with bt and do not know the company called Lowell. What should I do

I assume you have never had anything from either Lowell or the Court?
The first thing to do will be to contact Northampton County Court to get copies of everything sent to you.
You will then have to make an application to set aside the Judgement, there's more information on set aside here: http://legalbeagles.info/forums/foru...tailed-version
Once you have the documents from the court you'll need to write to the address given for service stating you did not receive the claim pack, you do not recognise the debt, you're applying to have the judgement set aside and do they consent to the set aside?COMPLETING AN N180 DIRECTIONS QUESTIONNAIRE (SMALL CLAIMS TRACK) GUIDE
