HI, I'm new
Hi Everyone.
Newbie here.
OK I found this site through CAG, I'm a member over there.
It wasn't hard to find out who the other site was from the postings on CAG of "LB".
I'm here, one because I'm nosy and wanted to nose at this terrible person who was supposedly trying to bring down CAG and two because I had only come across CAG when searching for info some months ago when I really needed to find some help with a legal matter. I never looked any further so didn't know this site existed.
I say "terrible person" because this is what I had gleaned from the many posts that were made in response to the call for donations under the heading "we are being sued for libel" or something pretty similar. I could make no decision for myself about the matter at first. I didn't have a clue what it was about really only hearing one side of it.
I have now read more and have come to the conclusion that someone feels bad and wants an apology. No one it seems is trying to bring down CAG and one good thing that has come out of all this is that I have found another forum. For this I am thankful. Its a real shame its transpired from such bad circumstances .
I've done my nosing now and have come to a conclusion that its a personal matter between people and something that certainly doesn't include me.
With that said I will just add that I'm not here to try and get people to donate to CAG's fighting fund and I will not be donating either. I have donated to CAG in the past but don't think its appropriate that CAG should be asking its members to donate for this.
I'll end with a little info about myself.
I'm a forty year old mother of two. I have a wonderful hubby and a gorgeous dog.
Sometimes I might be looking for help & advice other times I do try and give a little advice if I can.
As I said before I'm glad I've found this site and hope I get to enjoy it.
I'll now spend some time getting to know my way around it.
