Personally, I'm in a right pickle financially, however, have secured a low paid income in a bid to keep the wolf from our door.
My daughter, 19 YRS, received a letter just the other day, from Marmalade, her car finance company, who have requested that she return
the V5 document, due to a slight error on their part, an error Marmalade needed to make her aware of.
The V5 has been registered to Marmalade in error, instead of in her name, as it should of been.
Marmalade emphasise how important it is that she send the V5 at her earliest possible chance, if the changes have already been made with the DVLA, to let them know, so as to update their records.
Marmalade say they pride themselves on a fantastic service and a disappointed when a process fails.
My understanding is that the vehicle is now considerably devalued,as log book will always show my daughter as a second owner.
