  • son added to ccj

In June 2014 I received a CCJ,went to court and accepted the decision
In Setember this year the ccj was paid
Last week my son appllied for a mortgage only to find he had a ccj for my debt on file
He was never involved with this and all the names on county court papers does not include his name
He received nothing from the court or any legal documents
How can we take this off the register

he needs to contact the court with the details of the case and point out he was not the defendant,

Is the CCJ on his credit file, and on the register in his name, or is it on his file through financial association with you? Does it show on your credit file?
You can check the register at trust online https://www.trustonline.org.uk/search-yourself to check if it has somehow been put in his name instead of yours - or in case an unknown CCJ has been obtained against him without his knowledge.

        from the OP

Thank you for your interest in this matter but we decided to check with the other main credit agencies for the ccj on my son and is not on their files,so if HSBC used another main credit agency this would not be happening!!
he also contacted the main register which supplies all agencies and guess what nothing to declare
        regards
