This is now complete (thank goodness for that) and hopefully there will be a lot less (or none is the plan) Database errors.

All posts and pms etc have moved across sucessfully - we have lost a lot of the attatchments in posts tho and will try and reload these over the weekend.

If you spot any anomolies please let Tools or Ame know, by pm or on this thread, and please also report any database errors (with text from the error if possible).

Much appreciated, and thank you for your patience. We know its been a pain in the posterior over the last few weeks.

If you spot any anomolies please let Tools or Ame know, by pm or on this thread, and please also report any database errors (with text from the error if possible).

Could you also post the approximate time if a database error occurs so that we know if it is say 3 different ones or just 3 users experiencing the same one, thanks.

Autosave post drafts has also been fixed so if you are making a post over 20 characters long it will automatically save it as a draft after 3 minutes. If you then leave the page before submitting the post, all you have to do is return to the thread and press reply, your previous text will automatically appear and you can continue from where you left off.

Had a couple of very short ones, no where near as bad as it was before the db transfer, looking good so far but yes I agree Fasthosts ASAP

I have just checked my Abbey thread and noticed that the Abbey letter which I posted up has dissapeared, should I re-post the letter!

When backing up the database the attachments file corrupted, so any attachments that were previously within posts have more than likely been lost into the ether, sorry all. Tuttsi, if you Abbey letter was a scan attachment etc then yes, please re-insert it, would be really appreciated.

On the same note, if anyone else made an attachment in any of their posts and it appears to be missing could they please(if possible) re-insert them, that would be fantastic. Many many thanks from Amethyst and myself for your continued patience and support, it means a hell of a lot to us both.

I had a DB error when I tried to log in last night using a link in my favourites. Closed the tab and tried again and it worked ok. Couldn't tell you what time it was, just thought i'd mention it though.
