  • News feed holding up page loads

    Guys - the BBC NewsFeed box on the right hand side of the main forum screen is taking over a minute to load; and the page won't work at all until it does! All the menus at the top are frozen, if I click "Stop" the page won't work at all.


    I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.8

    hmmmm

    thanks Stoney - havent noticed a problem with it - but will keep an eye. I use firefox - it may be the BBC site was on a go slow when you tried - I know when Paypal was down CAG took ages to load.

    Let me know if it carries on.

      Sorry I meant to post this morning and never remembered to cos of work... it was better this morning - like you say was probably the BBC on a go-slow but while it was loading it killed my browser :P
