This site seems to attract more spam than any I know. Is there a reason ?

Appreciate reply. I know moderation can be demanding but might there be a software solution. Some forums have a button to report spam to mods.

I am annoyed by abuse of any good thing. Might it help reduce spam if you had to register before pos ?
I know I should be more relaxed about it but this is wrong use of a valuable site which costs money to run.

Today's Welcome full of spam scams. Surely it must be possible to prevent this. Please acknowledge someone is paying attention to this.

I've said before this is a marvellous site and I resent it being abused.
