FORUM: How to Change your Avatar

So you want an Avatar ? An avatar is simply a small image which helps identify you and express your personality ...


First Click on MY PROFILE


This takes you to your PROFILE PAGE



then hover your mouse over your Avatar. Click the blue 'Edit Avatar' link.




This opens a pop up box where you can upload your new Avatar.



You can upload an image from your desktop ( or phone ) , you can paste a link to your image on another site, or you can chose from one of the default avatars.

It is best to use a square image - but you can edit that in the next step - it will always display as a circle.... it is best to use an image you have saved to your desktop.

so CLICK BROWSE ...


and you can chose a picture to use and click OPEN.

This opens an edit box...



Then select the part of the image you want to use for your avatar ... remember it will be displayed in a circle so important bit in the centre .......



Then SAVE and it should be done.... it will return you to your profile page, and display your lovely new avatar...




Your avatar appears on all your posts...




and you can change it as often as you want.... to celebrate BIRTHDAYS, CHRISTMAS and other occassions... or simply because you fancy a change....
