Just to make all members aware that if they receive a PM from the member "DebtResearcher" to ignore/delete it. It is an automated spam bot and not genuine.

The user has now been banned for spamming.

I had an email from them - don't feel so guilty about ignoring it now!! I guessed that if it was a geninue request then one of top dogs from here would approach mein the first instance - or there would be a forum notice asking for people to contat the company?????

They have pm'd a large number of members selected at random mainly asking about capQuest but also some other DCA's.

CAG seem to have an announcement up about it asking people to contact them so i will contact Alan and see if they have checked these people out.

We have received an email from the user Debt Researcher and it is possible they may be genuine. The approach they took in contacting members directly, along with the user profile details they registered with is a classic sign of spamming.

I will be in contact with them and let you know of any developments, in the meantime however, I would ask that anyone who has received such a PM please forward it to me.
