I thougth the song was more recent, like 1985 when Matt Bianco got to number 13 with it

If they covered it too, then apologies lol

I didn't like her boot camp audition, she had chipped nail varnish! But she sure scrubbed up well.

        I think she's fantastic.

                  Hi Ame..

I totally agree with you Ame.. the first time I saw her she reminded me of Helena..shes the spitting image of her!!

.. do you think that Eoghan looks like Charlie Simpson from Busted?? (The eyebrows lol)

I really am enjoying watching this years X-Factor show. There is some great talent here in the UK and we should all be proud of that. I think out of all the girls, Alex, Laura and Ruth have the strongest voices. When Ruth sings in Spanish it makes your hair stand on end LOL. Simon seems to have a soft spot for her too.. (maybe its because she looks a bit like his girlfriend, Terri Seymour lol )

With regards to the guys, I cant pick out any, cos they are all so good lol !

Hey, whose Matt Bianco? !985, I wasn't listening to chart stuff in the eighties, nor do I now for that matter, well not a lot anyway. Sorry I' not much of a pop pundit, I'm sure you are quite correct. I couldn't tell you who was No. 1 in 85. let alone No. 13. Who was No. 1 ?
It sounded like an old 60's number to me and he was certainly dressed up in 60's gear. Going by the pictures and film I've seen of tht era anyway, I'm too young to remember the 60's.

I saw the chipped nail varnish too, couldn't quite believe she hadn't done her nails for that audition.
Perhaps she bit the varnish off minutes before due to nerves.
Chipped nail varnish, though. pretty low class.

vey classy voice though. Wow, didn't she scrub up well. I totally agree with you.
If I had one wish that would be granted, It would be to have the ability to sing like Whitney Houston.

                        Hi Tanzarelli,
I disagree, I think Alex will win. :champagne:
We should all have a sportsmans bet on it. Woops shouldn't encourage gambling, sorry, in any shape or form.

It was just all the little comments and 'cliches' that come up again adn again in this type of programme that were great - too numerous to mention
Would certainly reccoment to anyone if they haven't seen
Apparently being repeated on E4 (although unconfirmed)

Wife's just told me that the song's being released as single - wished they'd held off until Xfactor released single and went up directly against this - would have been far funnier to see it beat Simon Cowell's song.
