can't offer any advice other than what you've already done Des ... but I hope that you get him back soon (if you send me a PM with pic/description/identifying marks etc..., then I'll get mum's network of animal rescue/fosterers looking for you too) xxxx

I can't add anything helpful beyond what's been said, but I would like to express my very genuine sympathy and indeed empathy to you.

Have you considered offering a reward for information?

Awww yes travellers have a thing with Lurchers, I have never gone into to the whys and wherefores cause I hate how they treat animals on the whole and even if it's only for hunting hares etc I still feel sick at the thought.
Pets are being stolen on the biggest scale ever not just dogs

A link for you hope it helps http://www.dogtheftaction.com/news/i...=lostandstolen

Just about to go out again with his brother (even the rugby is taking a back seat).

They are chipped, but we know from other saluki owners that those who fall into travellers clutches can have them cut out!

    Thanks anyway, and here's hoping.

I can't think of anything you're not already doing. Although I'd be looking regularly in the areas that you usually walk him too if you're not already.

    Hope you find him soon.

This might give you a bit of hope http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...er+missing+dog
