It's a long time since I was actually in the sea down south, in fact I can tell you when it was, World Cup final week 1990, went down to Cornwall for a week.

And any way I was talking more in the way of London and the SE. That seems to be where most of the water problems are

ive been to yorkshire and down south for me hols in the past gotta say theyre both lovely but not london i cant stand it.......my daughter lives there theyre sooooo rude!

I live an hours drive, if that, from London.... Only ever been there twice.. Once about five years ago, drove up over Xmas to see the lights, and once years ago, when I lived in Devon and we went there on a school trip. The place is horrid

I'm not a big fan of London, been there a few times! what really freaks me out is driving on the M25 at night!! light's as far as the eye can see............ewwwwww not used to that, no stars in the night sky, just strange orange glow. I'm pretty lucky where i live, edge of popular seaside town, walk out the door turn left and 2 mins later i'm surrounded by fields! turn right and 15 mins later (walking that is) I'm at the beach.
I'm 5 mins walk from one of the largest zoo's in country (lol guess where I am now) and I'm a 20 min drive from the moors it is a lovely place to live, unfortunatly it does have the higest cost of living and some of the lowest wages, but yer can't have everything i suppose

Hmmm probably ahould have mentioned, the moors is 20 mins away by bike LOL

maybe 35 mins (depending on traffic) by car

Southport.....the only seaside town that's not beside the sea!

it is eventually, it's the anticipation, will we see the sea, won't we see the sea. That is what us kids enjoyed and fish'n'chips in the Star Cafe. You've never lived you lot PMSL thing is I remember them days better than why I have just gone in the kitchen

Actually I can remember going to Southport many years ago, and not only was the sea in, but the sea front was flooded!

It was raining pretty hard mind you

Lol Lol. Sea, flooded, tis impossible surely. Lol Lol. NVM, worth the trip for the gorge chish and fips.................... oooooo yeah, a semi annual treat only in our house, lol lol xxx

Bye for now Delta. ooooooh lovely uverly bubbly baths, nice,,,,,,,,,,,,, is what the laydeeeees adore. yaaaaaaaaaaaay for uber bubbly baths, lol lol xxxxx and smelling all clean and uber gorgeous and beautiful, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. And yaaaaay for new crisp fresh bed sheets, ooooh yeah. Not much else in life can beat that feeling............................ xxx
