yea was very windy and pouring down here today.got soaked to the skin when the heavens opened while i was walking the dog!! and yes i have a proper dog too,a staffie!!

Bloody hell, I've had German Shepherds, Rottie's, Greyhounds a Llahso Apso and a Yorkie Terrier, so I now fancy something like a Cocker Spaniel size.

When I had my pub's I had an Old English Mastiff and a Labrador, no-one and nothing came near them.

I'm another one that agrees with getting a proper dog, you want something that will keep your feet warm, one that barks as opposed to yaps, and don't have teeth like needles!

Bit rough windy and wet here too, listening to the weather it sounds like its going to be a rough weekend.

Well the street light is still on, my windows are wet and all my bushes are waving about madly lol. So I just guessed it was wet and windy.

Oh and Sappy if you get a proper dog, you can put it through the books as a guard dog, we did in the pub lol.

How do know what the weather's like, its dark outside and I ain't going out there in my jama's to have a look.

For you softie southerners, us tough northerners will be facing winds of 60-80 mph today, on the 18th floor of our site, that'll be 100+ so I'll pass on going up there today I think.

I agree with Enaid, sapp, you need a real dog, rottweilers are cute and if you train it correctly, will keep the old git in his place.

It's a little wet and breezy here this morning, to say the least lol.

Sappy if your going to get a dog, get a proper one, not one of them that you can put in your handbag lol even if it's a secret from your OH lol.

Ok I'm going to start a thread on Xmas Hints and Tips !

Oh and if I do get some money from this claim for my foot, (or even if I don't actually) I am at this moment saving up for a little puppy of my own. Thinking of something like a Cocker Spaniel, Lhaso Apso etc but can't shout too loud 'cos Les is dead against the idea.

Talking of dogs and christmas cards, one of my irish setters is on the red setter rescue christmas cards this year so orders now being taken (sorry it's not a beagle but its the best I can do)

Morning all, I have a rotten headache, les left the heating on all night ffs.
We have the appointment with the Lawyer today at 4pm re my broken foot and if I can claim from the local council.
