wel its probably East Anglia because of the Dutch gables on the building on the right.

Before the Fens were drained, East Anglia did much of its trade by sea with Holland rather then by land to England, hence the Dutch influences on the architecture.

a major clue is the bridge is actually 500 years old and when first constructed had no screws or nails to hold it together.

That is the Chinese Bridge at Godmanchester over which is a lovely walk across a vast park, a set of locks and a VERY interesting riverside walk.
