            Re: Discussion

No one knows if Corbyn will be the nest PM because as far as i am aware no one can predict the future .
One thing to think about though is why has the membership of the Labour party jumped since he stood in the election?

Even if he does not make it to be PM , maybe he will have forced the labour party to re examine its socialist roots and decide if it wants to be a socialist, left of centre, right of centre or a middle ground party. It always seemed ironic to me that the Lib Dems joined the Tories in coalition as they were further left than the labour party of Brown .

I believe this country needs a total overhaul of the electoral system that would stop the ridiculous situation of a party that got more votes than the SNP only getting 8 seats.

I find the comments of some of the more right wing members about champagne socialists pathetic , in our current system it is quite possible for someone with wealth to believe in equality and redistribution of wealth ( a phrase that no labour leader until now seems to have uttered since before maggie ruined the trade unions ) .

I stand by my statements that the Unions have been ruined and are now run by people who are as self serving and corrupt as most politicians

Is there much of a difference, socialism is a step on the road to Marxism

Thought it was an interesting debate until one participant wants to withdraw because they don like the remarks.

I will state that I dislike all politicians of any party as far as im concerned they are in it for themselves

Believe it or not, i am the same, all politicians of any party have their snoughts in the trough, and another part of a pigs anatomy for one member of parliament

This country is crying out for political change, for good or bad, it has started to happen. People have had enough of the sleeze and spin

I myself will vote for Labour every time just to stop one of the fringe parties getting any electoral credibility

An educated debate does not devolve into a slagging match on personalities, only the facts

That's all that is happening contributors stating facts anyone who can't take reality really shouldn't bother taking part in first instance.
