  • The Passion BBC1 all this week at 8pm discussion thread

Well, it has started on today's day of Palm Sunday, sometimes called Passion Sunday. This is the dramatisation all this week.

Anyone know what story of the bible this story was loosely based on it. It was a diabolical diatribe, I think i learned more from the Life of Brian than I did from the Passion. BBC, you put on my telly something that was not worth the money you used to portray this. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I recognised merely the base outline of the passion. Please please please just put on an old hollywood film on. The best I could find was The Wizard of Oz.

Whenever I see Christ on a cross and Mary etc coming to see him it reminds me of Life of Brian, which was an excellant film.

I thoroughly enjoyed Mel Gibsons The Passion of the Christ. I found it shocking and rivoting and each time end up with tears running down my cheeks for the horror of crucifixion.

I agree Nat, it was rubbish.
BTW, I thought Judas hung himself from a tree?
