I don't think Milo gives advice by PM, besides it is against forum rules and you can get kicked out I believe.

This is about getting a car back as quickly as possible and Milo has the contacts to do that.

Mio is aware of this thread, there is nothing that can be done by PM that cannot be done on an open thread. IMHO

When you start doing things by PM you leave yourself open to all sort of absurd allegations, when all you are trying to do is help, so it is better to keep tings in the open

Nothing to stop Milo posting on forum stating she would be willing to intervene with Screwlyn.

Time for Divamama to Esscalate with a Formal Complaint to Lewisham CEO and Elected leader, copy to MP who even if not for a Lewisham Constituency can lean on them.

As Andy58 says ... Milo is aware of the thread (and has in fact commented to begin with). We do have a "no advice via PM" rule here on LB which is there for the safety of both the one asking for advice and those giving it.

Who has said Milo was going to give any advice? And just to make this absolutely clear, it was Milo who asked me to post on her behalf.

Now can we concetrate on getting this car back instead of squabbling over the intertpretation of forum rules? Milo thinks that she has the solution, but doesn't want to post for reasons she has told me that she has explained to a moderator

Speaking as one who does not use PM's, one still has to wonder why there is a PM facility if it is against the rules to use it

I find it extremely concerning that a person who professes to be able to help actually is refusing to help simply because another poster happens to have posted on a thread. Very sad and a very poor reflection on that person in my book.

Speaking as one who does not use PM's, one still has to wonder why there is a PM facility if it is against the rules to use it

The PM option is there for reasons other than asking for/giving advice - LB members can use the PMs to 'bump up' their threads with the right person, use it to report spam, to give those who are helping additional info that cannot be posted on the public forum etc...
It is not 'against the rules' to use the PM facility, we just do not condone giving advice via PM.

Or you could say that it was a sad reflection on this forum that such vile individuals are being allowed to post on here. I know you say it does not matter what is said elsewhere, clearly everyone is not of the same opinion.

What I do do is defend LB.
If the people who cause problems for themselves and others in there just stuck to helping others instead of helping their egos and then asking Admin to sort it out for them, then am sure it could be a very good forum.

We are not talking about that Enaid, that sort of thing is par for the course on these forums. What is happening here is the systematic and targeted attacks on certain members of this forum , using details form there personal life, which have absolutely nothing to do with bailiffs the law or anything else.
In my case it was an attack because I happen to be on dialysis, others it is their personal circumstances, these are levels which even I would never stoop to.

There is absolutely no doubt of who is responsible, despite the cowardly way that thee attacks are made on an anonymous blog, the perpetrators do not even bother to deny it any more.
