He's adorable and many of his views are sound.

But - I find it so distressing that politics is almost becoming like the "XFactor" with TV and so forth.

I know there are certain historical figures that it's unwise to mention in this kind of thread who allegedly had charisma and who also had very bad ideas

Just wishing there were a viable alternative to Party Politics...:croc:

Nope I'm afraid not ... this WAS what my cat "Kekserl" looked like two years ago. He's grown up a bit since then

Mine's a lib dem and despite their betrayal of: as a party, the British people by throwing their lot in with Cameron I'll probabally vote for him . Realistically I don't think the Greens can win the seat, I can't vote Tory not ever and labour don't seem to have coherent policies yet .

My contention is that the "Party" they belong to should be irrelevant - it's the quality of the individual that matters - and also it's just so unlikely that anyone with a brain would agree with every detail (even on big stuff) put forward by any party.

So - for a start - get rid of the Whip system and always allow free votes.....

He was one of three kittens born to a stray cat that arrived on my doorstep (already pregnant) one day - we called him Kekserl (Austrian/German for a type of biscuit) because he was a little ginger nut :lol: xx

I agree with you Miss FM. Dennis is perfect for this area and he is a very good MP, well, he replies to my letters anyway, but I can't bring myself to vote for him at the general election because although I'd support him I can't support Labour overall to run the country - and even though Bolsover has been Labour since the dawn of time and will continue to be so, regardless of my vote, I am still of the belief that my vote should matter.

He looks almost identical to our "Rusty" who arrived with us in a bit of a mess earlier this year............characters much loved am sure !

Going on to the MP bit then I have to state even as a mid ranger our conservative MP has done everything I asked of her.

I am embarrassed to write that I think the conservatives are best to deal with this countries financial circumstances.

UKIP are nothing more than just preying on doubts or a situation that exists in fact but with little or no impact on reality.

If I have to go in to see my MP I take copies of everything she might possibly need and just tell her what I expect her to do
She's so used to it now that she has even emailed me once to help her find a link for someone else
