  • What's in a name?

I cannot be arsed to look for the original thread but this one is a simple one about how you got your name.

So NATTIE- when I joined the charges game I was NatWestStaffMember and it was a pain to type so a makeover about a year ago and the fact people called me Nattie meant that was the name I got.

Over to you guys if you so wish.

ok me and kate when we set this thing up couldnt think what to call ourselves to be incognito so ummmm i think searching on jewels lol we come up with Celestine and Amethyst and as Kates more celestial than I she had that, and as I rather like purple hehe I got Amethyst.

Umm karnevil i got cause of my ex and his penchant for ELP. But as both karnevil and ex are gone who gives a toss.

Tools took hours deciding on his lol hehe but he'll tell u that.

Mines a nickname really, surname Tan**** and some mates used to call me tanzarelli but most call me Tanz, my brothers also called Tanz by his mates as is my dad.

Nothing exciting really or exotic lol.

Sapphire because I liked Amethysts idea and I love the colour Blue. Anyway I was bored with my old name on other sites which was Darling.

Well mines soooo original - my first 2 initials, followed by my favourite/lucky number lol

As for my other username Jessica, it came from when I used to have long red hair and a particularly favourite 'object' [ahem] hence reminding me of a fantastic cartoon charachter [pluss I love the name Jess lol]

                  Re: What's in a name?

Now for the true origins of my username.

My wife works in the local hospital operating theatres. She is an ODP, assisting in operations. The last thing old people often say is 'if I die can you find a home for my dog' or 'my pet is at home can somone look after it if I am not able'. In the past 18 years I have taken in loads of cats and dogs and looked after them for the rest of their lives. The thing with old people their pets are usually old as well, so the longest any has lasted is 7 years.

Ignore the above post as everybody knows I am grumpy, young and very handsom!

I sign on every Forum as Niklowe. At my age you need something easy.

I have had various other names OTR, most are now on moderation! I have another one that is not, which I will not disclose here for obvious reasons.
