Thanks Enaid, I quite like the look of the Thistle Hotel for us http://www.thistle.com/en/hbs/room_a...lity_list.html but since I do not know Brighton that well, I am not sure of how central it is and whether it is to large for us or too expensive for everyone. Also if people are coming by car we need to ensure that whichever hotel/guest house we will have parking facilities.

Everyone is very welcome even if you come for just for a day or two but we do hope that you will be able to join us so that we can party and make this a special event. My very tall, very handsome nephew is at Brighton University......and it seems he and my offspring have decided to 'by coincidence' be scheduled for a 'catch up' whilst we're there so you will all get to meet my infamous son + heir too

29/30 November & 1st December is good for me, West Ham are at home to Fulham but the old man says he will jump on the train and meet us after.

All we need is Cel to investigate hotels when you get back from France hun please.

My OH would rather stick pins in his eyes than risk annoying me when I want to do something....apparently my silences are way more dangerous than my rather volatile temper...(My son says it's because I'm plotting painful revenge, and I can't think and shout at the same time,,cheeky git!!)

If my hubby can get the Saturday off work we will be there Friday to Sunday, otherwise we will be there Saturday afternoon (he works 8 till 12 on a Saturday). He is "discussions with his boss" - which basically means I've scared the hell of him and told him to get the time off or I'll sulk :argue: out: so he's begging his boss for the time off :violin: Apparently I am far scarier than his boss - which is very true
