    Re: Beagles Book Club

If I have cause to believe there is a spammer we have a jolly little triangle to press to report said spammer to Admin (and Yes,,it gets dealt with and No,,not always how I think it should be,but I don't run/own the site so I abide by the decisions made).
There is nothing worse than seeing someone openly mocked,,it's hurtful,it's rude and it's not necessary,,there is no 'clique' on here,,we are all strangers bought together by choice,we don't always agree,we don't always agree to differ, but ,as adults,we should know better than to strike someone down spitefully because they don't 'appear' to fit within our 'boundaries' of what is or isn't correct to post.Rather than 'take the p*ss' out of Lucifa, reporting a potential spammer would have been more appropriate I think.

I know that although I am admin, and that a lot of you don't consider me 'that' important, and certainly not as important as Celestine who owns the site, but none the less I am THE ONLY ADMIN on here, I am asking you all nicely to agree to disagree and get back on topic.

Ok Wales no worries, can we please stick to the topic now though, all this arguing between users becomes boring too, believe me we've been there, seen it all and got the T-Shirt, its horrid and makes people feel bad, and even more so it gives the site a bad feeling.

I think you are important Saphire.

The first books I can clearly remember reading are the adventures of Biggles, and his aerial daring doo with his pals Algy and Sergeant Smyth.

The first proper book was probably , "The cruel sea" (Nicholas Monsarrat) shortly followed by King Solomons mines, I am reading the later to my grandson in installments every night at bed time.

I now live in 'Jane Austens' county,,but it's a good job I didn't when she was alive cos I would have taken her pencils off her to stop her writing.... I had to do 'Northanger Abbey' as part of my English Literature exams....that book will haunt me for the rest of my days
