New Auction Site - Alpha/Beta Testers Wanted
Hi Guys
On top of the Real Estate project that i'll soon be starting work on (its the priority project) i am also as a secondary project looking at developing a new Auction Site, which i hope to be similar to Ebay with better value and service, though obviously it won't be another ebay clone.
I already have a basic earlier attempt, using a basic package up and running - though i can not post a link as it is on the same domain as my main companies ecommerce site.
However i have a more advanced design in the works which i hope to launch sometime in the next few days subject to making testing. During the alpha and beta stages, the site will be run on my main company website as a hidden link (e.g. no link on the main site to it). So anyone interested in trying it out for free to sell or buy, then feel free to PM me with your interest and i will in return PM you with the link to the site once i have the new version up and running on the server.
Now although it will be free during the majority of the alpha/beta stage(s) there will be time when we test the fee structure to ensure the fee structure, fee payment structure and and associated setting related to fees work and run smoothly. When this happens we will consulate all those testing the site via Auction 24hrs before we attempt to test the fees structures. Plus the Fees, will only be pennies and anyone who pays any fees will be given the option to have them refunded or with the fee payers permission, we will donate any fees collected to Legal Beagles - To do this, once we have Completed each fee testing stage we will send out an email to those that paid any fees asking them to request a refund or give permission for the fees they paid to be donated to LB. If no reply is received within 5 working days of us sending out the email, then the fees that have not been reclaimed will be donated to LB.
Obviously once the site goes to fully live fees will be finalised and set and will be more than just pennies, but i would like to donate a certain percenage of net profit to LB in return for all you guys that decide to help in the Alpha/Beta stage of the sites development.
Now yes all through the Alpha/Beta stage you will be able to sell and/or buy from each other and make yourself some profit on your unwanted goods, or buy goods that are wanted by you but unwanted by the seller. We hope to have seller shops too, but i can not confirm if this will happen just yet. There will be a forum space dedicated to the auction site as well though not straight away but it will follow with a day or 2 of the Alpha/Beta Starting.
So if your interested and want to make some money for free or buy items and sell items between yourselves for no cost (or just pennies when we tested the fees structures) then PM me and once the site is ready i will PM those interested the Link to the site for them to register along with any other details that maybe required.
As a benefit to anyone that does test, i hope, if its possible to have your accounts set up so they do not incur fees when the site goes live, though that may not be possible so we may issue you coupon codes instead. Basically we will look at some way of keeping it free for those users that were part of the Alpha/Beta testing.
